automed is a next-generation medication delivery system designed for commercial livestock producers. As a result of our rapid growth, we are now expanding to include the ongoing development of our online platforms and applications.

The position will be located in Canberra, and is suited for a motivated applications developer with experience in developing Windows based applications.

The ideal candidate’s focus will be the development of the windows based application for the automed system.

Responsibilities
 Development of Windows application required for Windows XP, 7 and 10
 Development of hardware communication protocols within the Windows application
 Integrating the existing automed data structure and synchronisation functionality
 Work with existing integration partners requiring the application solution.
 Working onsite with customers to properly test and integrate the application

Skills
 Good skills in C#
 Good skills in MySQL
 Skills in hardware communication protocols such as WiFi, Bluetooth RS232 and Networks
 Integration of APIs and data transfer methods
 Creation of development documentation
 Strong communication skills
 Ability to work within a diverse team with different levels of skills and capabilities
 Strong problem-solving skills
 Ability to meet deadlines
 Ability to work under pressure
 Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, BitBucket
 Use of other systems such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket is an advantage but not a requirement.

The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate their development ability and show excellent skills in communication, working with diverse teams, problem-solving and adhering to strict deadlines.

The position is for a minimum of 20 hours a week up to 40 hours a week and could suit ongoing undergraduate students, graduates or post-graduate students looking for a way to get started with a fast-growing company.
